 Stables Lodge Testimonials Great Danes love Stables Lodge "Hellooo guys, while I am at it I thought I post this lovely we are currently staying at.. We came to derbyshire for long weekend and combined it with the great Elvaston walk today, and what a great time we had. This place is absolutely stunning and VERY dane friendly. We are 15 minutes away from Elvaston Castle by car (at Stables Lodge). These are converted stables, and must say, the people that own it are the friendliest guys ever They have thought of everything. Dog bowls, poo bins and bags are provided, also at the back of the stables is big dog run with a gate, which was very handy when we unpacked our car they were running round and playing while we could cover everything with dust sheets ha ha. When I found it on the internet it seemed great and the value for money was so good. The support and friendliness from Jane the entire time from enquiry to saying goodbye was brilliant and she was always willing to help, change things, clarify details and do anything to accommodate us. With a booking for 30 people I was so worried it would be disappointing. However, we had the best weekend. Tim made every effort to welcome us when we arrived late and went through the lodges bit by bit and advised us of local amenities. Clare Inman Just a belated thank you for such wonderful accommodation you have at Stables Lodge. Everything was so clean and we had everything we needed. You have obviously thought of everything. We left early on Saturday morning as we needed to be at Ponds Forge by 7.30am for warm up! We had an excellent time and James had some really good swims. On Saturday he managed to get in the 100m butterfly final and came 6th which means he is the 6th fastest 11 year old in the whole of the country for 100m butterfly. So all in all a good week. We would definitely recommend your accommodation to our friends and if we are ever in the area for an Alton Towers visit we will definitely use Stables Lodge.
